New Droste effect 2018 with more features and options using FF 7

In the above thread I have made already many examples showing the results

This is already available since 2010, and is well done and great, but I have seen that the droste effect has more possible forms than only the spiral, and can be done even more cool and interesting things as seen below

I wonder if after 8 years and using all the additional new features of FF in these 8 years could be made a new better droste filter with more features, I mean that there is more than the spiral, although I have no idea on how to make it as I think that maybe would need some scripting

PIxel bender for Adobe Photoshop is not available anymore after CS6 version so is not possible to use it unless you use Photoshop CS4 or CS5
