What do you mean as "duplicate to shapes"?
Do you want to take this image, selecting only the areas that aren't black and being able to use it? Or anything different? |

Well, the easier solution is to build it.
Using components like Free Ellipse and Free Polygon, you can create practically any shape. Otherwise, if you don't want to build it, just select an area of your picture where the leave/petal is good. You can use the component Scale to enlarge the right area. Then, using Free Ellipse and Free Polygon, you can cover the areas that are not interesting and use Threshold to select it. |

It is about like the shape you wanted. You also have a control to change the color.

Here is a filter combining the previous Petal/Leave with a Bomber, and applying it to a picture.

Apart from the well suggested link of xirja above, maybe also it could help these other filters
Thai : Jasmine Rice Design by Ramlyn Brown Rice Design by Ramlyn And it also could be possible to mix these ones with the above Also the rice can be easily transformed into a leaf or made bigger |

For memetaltin :
You can easily change how the leaves are distributed. Open the filter editor and look at the Bomber component. All what is connected with the Rotation input defines most of the leaves position. There are clearly also other factors, as Variation, Chance, etc. that can be useful to control, but in your case I think that Rotation can be the most important. In my example I connected gradients. Changing the values of these gradients you can make the leaves dispose in many different ways. You can also connect something else instead of my gradients (Image, Free Polygon, Cells, etc.). LexArt posted the links of two of my filters. There you can find another example about how to manipulate the distribution. ![]() For LexArt : Thanks for posting my two filters as example. ![]() |
