I've just completed a modification of another contributors filter. It is The Brush maker by Martin Naumann:
https://www.filterforge.com/filters/13642.html I wanted Black Brushes on a transparent or White background. I finally figured out how to do it. Yet I'm not certain if I should publish this filter or simply send my mod to the author. What is the right thing to do here? I want to give credit where credit is due. This is one filter which I found to be a great tool for learning something of filter creation and modification. ![]() Don't step on a dead dogma. It'll turn up again and bite you! |

The main thing to remember is to change the filter enough so it's no just a clone of the first one. After that most people (me included) just give the original maker credit in the discription area and upload the filter. Hope that helps.
