Here is something that was done without a bomber, uses no script component, and renders in under 2 seconds. A pendant of your choice for solving.

...and believe it or not, there is not one noise component used either.

No implicit noises either? (i.e. Noise Curve, Noise Gradient, Noise Distortion)

Ah, nope. Here is the component list
![]() *Curve (items that end in Curve, but don't include Noise) Blend5 Blur BrightnessContrast2 CheckboxControl EdgeDetector HighPass2 IntSliderControl Invert Kaleidoscope2 Offset ProfileGradient2 Repeat Rotate Scale SliderControl Switch3 Threshold2 Oh, and the fine print should say, the reward goes to the first entity to solve this. ![]() _____________________________________________________

Sorry, but the sheer number of parameters and components opts me out

I was hoping
![]() Oh dear, if you're bailing, I know I need to make it easier. So, supplanting the initial graphic, the revised challenge is to use anything to make the following image without using any noise components (implicit or otherwise), bomber, script, or external images. Sphinx? ![]() ![]() _____________________________________________________

Maybe a broader image criteria to include anything that has a faint resemblance to latin alphanumerics meeting the aforementioned conditions would be doable?
![]() I happily stumbled across this gem a while back, and as you can probably tell I'm now here to boast in a most roundabout way ![]() _____________________________________________________

Also, most importantly, no piecemeal hacks allowed, e.g.: http://www.filterforge.com/filters/10470.html
So thankful I didn't already get caught by this. ![]() _____________________________________________________

Ok, that looks pretty close. Maybe a bit of a chopped up maze look, but close enough. I was going to say something about the triangular tips and the little black pixels missing, but you've got it Totte. Else, I might be here for a good long time being an ass of a judge.
Note to myself: Quantifying qualities isn't easy nor fun, look into counting beans before hastily beginning design contests. Anyhow, it's nice to have buried gems and glitch effects in FF! ![]() byeeeee... ![]() _____________________________________________________

Similar styles in filters are:
