i like this one. the smaller images dont do it justice. there's some great detail in there.

Thank you, that's very kind. It's quite slow to render but I'm hoping efficiency will come with experience. Filter Forge is quite a step up for me, but I'm really enjoying it!

This is excellent. Nice work. Sure it's a little slow, but when the alternative is doing it by hand in Photoshop it doesn't seem so bad.

Nice work!
at least 90 percent of all sensation is texture, even beyond the visual, with elements of noise, tone, gradients, interval and degree.
