Nice the insides
![]() I was almost going to congratulate you on finding a very cool solution to the problem. Only the spacing isn't quite right (see attached image). With five steps you'd expect 20 percent steps. I attached a threshold to check this and the first threshold step occurs around 17. In the attached image (the threshold with the attached profile) you will want the steps to be evenly spaced in the vertical direction as well. You're almost there though... ![]() |

I'm not sure if this solution is exactly correct but it looks like it. I found by manually adjusting a frequency component that (when frequency is set from 1-2) the frequency itself would amount to .5*(1/steps). Now I don't know how to get 1/steps but with a little trial and error it seems a bias set to 98 does the trick.
Then again... no this one doesn't fit either... set steps to 100 and you'll see why. I'll just post it anyway to give you another approach. correct step gradient snippet.ffxml |

Thank you for the reply to be candid I would have never noticed that
your absolutly correct to the naked eye it looked dead on but when I measured it on screen (the default preset of 5 steps) the two end steps on the right where thicker Ill look in to correcting this when I get a chance may be a bit since My workload in recent months has been huge Gotta love the econemy theese days --allways more work for less money lets all whine for a wine port |
