Wow This is really neat, but the books looks blurred, is there a way you can make it crisp?

Yeah great idea this filter...
They now all have the same number of pages though, and some empty spots would do nice as well. Also a minor detail: the direction of the wood of the shelves should be horizontal (so the shelves don't break so easily). |

Good idea!
I support Betis and Sjeiti's suggestions and can add some things: - books width range - books angles control - fillet control for shelve's corners - titles imitation - bump map which will make some books closer or further (for 3D projects) - different types for the wood texture - CD and Vynils? |

Ok, this was meant to be an easy and fast to render filter, but I see you guys won´t let me get away with it! LOL
I think you are all expecting way too much of my FF capability, but there are a few things I can improve: - Different widths - Horizontal wood (yeah, that would be way much better) - "written" titles Time has been scarce lately, but I´ll definatly be working on this! And thank you so much for all the ideas and pointers. They are always appreciated! Dog - Men´s best friend... until internet came along. |

It will make a great texture for distance shots in libraries. |
