Thanks! If you do something cool with the filter, I'd love to see it.
I left them off because I wanted the filter to allow a high degree of randomization 'right out of the box'. (I would have added them if they could be 'locked' separately.) |

Here is the sort of thing that I had in mind when making this filter:

I like how the letters came out!
But yes, I agree that color slides would make the filter even better. So... I made a version of the filter that has 2 color slides for the stones and another for the shadows. StoneHenge 1.1 yColorf.ffxml |

Hey, thanks! If you do something neat with it, I'd love to see.
Btw: if you like the this one, you might also like the Bling-O-Tron: http://www.filterforge.com/forum/read...ssage71812 It uses a heightmap, just like Stonehenge, but does fun things with the foreground and background. Works particularly nice with fonts and highly graphic components: ![]() Also, I have a 'rustification' one, which works similarly, but haven't uploaded it yet. Pics at my 'junkyard' thread: http://www.filterforge.com/forum/read...#nav_start If you'd like it, let me know and I'll upload it. |

Thanks CaliCoastReplay,
It's kind of an older one. But yeah, it only has like 2000 downloads, which is pretty low. I think it's because things which take a structured input channel (simple grayscale in this case) are hard to convey in a preview using the standard lifesaver images. I've noticed the same trend w/ my Rusterizer and Bronzerizer filters. Personally, think it would be perfect for people who are into RPG stuff. I've thought about making a more elaborate version which has more color controls, better stonework, and creates a ground plane. Dunno, what do you think? |
