Neat filter. Need to change the size of some of your presets but still very cool.

is cool, love the glow around them.. wonder what it will look like if you set it so the outer edge thats black becomes transparent/alpha? Like a solid or alpha choice that is. Ooo now if you could add star's too.. hehe, time I go and hide I think smile;) smile:D
Nothing wrong with a little insanity ;)

Nice one smile:-)

Before you change the size of your presets... maybe it's better to implement this: http://www.filterforge.com/filters/5392.html
One of the requirements for getting a 'featured' filter is that the size/pixels does not break the filter.

What would also be good for an even more realistic look is spherical displacement. Aside from the shadow and highlight, your planets surface is now flat. Look into Sphinxmorphers golf balls: http://www.filterforge.com/filters/4633.html (no need to turn your filter in into a surface filter of course).

also, a little lighter would be good.
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

simply play with the gamma and white value of the last component and got this, this is an awesome filter but may want to keep working on it because it has potential to be even more awesome!

Accidentally opened up FF today and stumbled upon a little try I had at your filter.
Instead of the earlier mentioned golf ball filter I now used christmas balls as a base for spherical displacement (golf balls had a slight error).
I also removed the blur and high pass components from your filter since those can slow things down.

This must be the planet where all the meatballs come from.
