Amazing!
I started something like this last year...but it never got to the point of looking near this good. Rawn |

Oh sweet! The default and variation 2 are fantastic.
The only improvement I'd like to see would be a more predictable randomization... maybe the remapping needs to be tightened a little? --- Crapadilla says: "Damn you, stupid redundant feature requests!" ;) |

Yeah, I actually tried this, but then it also seemed to limit some of the more extreme variations (which doesn't really look like bamboo but still cool). So I tried setting the randomization level a bit lower (in the randomization options dialog), which I found sufficient. |

Fantastic, only request is a way to tighten the bamboo together so we can have the option to have less gaps.

Note taken. I will add more layers too (so you can control number of bamboo layers). And a checkbox to enable BG mask transparency.. |

OMG it's BEAUTIFUL.
::Weeps with the beauty of your filter:: You need to make a 'bones' filter. It's so close! |

I'm loving the lighting on the edges, if only I needed some bamboo ha-ha, great work.

It might just be my personal preference, but I've always liked filters that stayed true to their name no matter how hard I randomized them. --- Crapadilla says: "Damn you, stupid redundant feature requests!" ;) |

This one is awesome, I did'nt know that something like this was possible. Wow!
at least 90 percent of all sensation is texture, even beyond the visual, with elements of noise, tone, gradients, interval and degree.

I'm never going to open this because I might understand how you did it. As it is, it's pure magic. Thanks.
