i like this as well, except for one thing. where the pipes run over that other part, you've done a blend where the part underneath is affecting the pipes. in some spots this looks ok, but in others, not so much and it looks a little flat/weird.

yeah that weirdness is how I have the reflectivity set up.
It was designed to give a little more depth to the pipes, but in some instances it does look wierd. I guess i could put a switch to turn the reflectivity on and off maybe. Rawn |

well, if the pipe were completely covered by the second layer or the pipes were completely covering the second layer, at least as options, i think it would work better. in fact, i do like the idea of the pipes going under that second layer at points where they overlap.

I like how it looks right now. If the pipes were all on top or all underneath it would be dull. If it's used as a backdrop then the flatness of the pipes under the layer won't really be noticed anyway. If you do change this, will you please do it as a second filter so that this style won't be lost?

I don't have much time to play with filters lately anyway, so by the time I would get around to editing this filter, I would probably forget that I wanted to edit it LOL
So it will probably stay as it is. The effect worked for what my original intent was. Rawn |
