I turned out pretty cool.
 If you ended up using Kraellin's double method, you might try using Levels on 1, and Threshold on the other 1, just for more variety. Other than that, maybe change the tiles settings so one is repeating 5X times, and one is repeating 6X times, so the sizes vary a little bit too.

nor is anyone else, mouse. letters are a real trick and there's only about one or two filters that have attempted it with any success. so, just tell steve to figure it out

The letters themselves you would have to figure out --since the work with curves would be huge --someday I might whip out an alphabet snippet for use in filters --not today though
for how to tile them randomly take a look at the checkered component --use noise for imput then check solid fill --utilize the color base selected for rotation size and selection for exxamples take a look at theese for starters http://www.filterforge.com/filters/3671.html http://www.filterforge.com/filters/3719.html http://www.filterforge.com/filters/2950.html http://www.filterforge.com/filters/3437.html theese might give you an idea as to how to go about doing it ---Dont forget the wealth of snippets out there lets all whine for a wine port |
