Hello, it seems a little flat to me, do you think I should add a gloss to it?

yeah, a little shine/luster/reflection/gloss would be good. most marble has a bit and if it's polished marble, then often quite a bit. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

I haven't had time to update the filter yet. I'll be able to work on it after this school quarter which is only 10 days away. It's crunch time......lol

Good, because I think the non shiney will be very useful as a terrain mat in Bryce. (I prefer Bryce over Poser)

You know I didn't think of that. Of course, I don't have Bryce, sooo. Yeah I keep this one and just create a polished marble withint the next couple of days or so.

This makes very pretty "honed marble" and also old suede.
People see in it what they expect. The texture on a countertop is marble. Make a pair of boots out of the same swatch and they see suede.

Actually you could put it in the same filter and then people like ahimsa that want to use the flat kind can just grab the diffuse texture Roses are #FF0000
Violets are #0000FF
All my base are belong to you.
