I really like that fifth preset, it really looks like a waterfall. It's got really nice sparkles. To bad about the clipping (those even-gray patches here and there).

If you add some design or even color to the noise part of the perlin filter, you will see what this can do.
Thanks for saying something, I do appreciate it. I'll have to take a look at that one and see if adding some color to the noise will maybe bring out that waterfall effect you are seeing and do away with the grey areas.

When I add color that grey goes away. You just need to add something to the noise.

ah... ok...
ps: don't forget the vapor clouds when you make the waterfall, and maybe an occasional rock

This looks very useful Too bad snippets get integrated into other filters without any registered user stats......because it looks like it will be used alot...... Steve

If you look closely you can notice some aliasing around the edges of the flat sides. I'm not entirely sure how FF works but I think that you would be doing a great service to the filter if you found a way to smooth those jaggies.
All in all, a very slick way to get some cloth filter action!

Thanks for pointing that out. I am fixing all the presets right now so that they all are smoothed. I'll resubmit it in a bit. I didn't even notice that.

Nice update! Glad to see the fix wasn't a huge problem.
