nice smile:) i like these with the size scaled up a bit to really show the rectilinear effect. the really smaller scale ones simply look like a bad case of the jaggies smile:)

Thanx smile:) The problem at a largesr scale is that you loose the image form......so these filters are more or less intended for simple images so you can tell what it is.....but perfect if you just want different colored relief tiles smile;) smile:D

a small clarification here... most of the ones you posted here are scaled fine. it's just the green/turquoise one that seems scaled too small. the rest look great and show the effect very nicely.

Thanx smile:) Yeah, you can take it down in size all the way to pixel effects if you want to. Believe it or not, I'm still discovering neat new tricks with my own filters smile:| Kinda shows how fast I polished up and posted them smile;) smile:D

yeah, been going over some of my old, unfinished ones to see if there's anything there worth finishing. 'pink sliders' is actually from one of those.

Yeah, I actually have.....take a peek at the bottom of the page of my most recent filter submissions.....there's a whole bunch of them there. They kinda snuck by without any comments.....and I haven't submitted samples on any of them yet.....until now smile:dgrin: This is the first smile;) smile:D

well, a year ago i didnt know what i know now. but, when i get an idea i jot it down in filter form as best i can at the time. sometimes i just cant work it out and sometimes i'm busy with something else and dont want to start another project. so, when i start running out of fresh ideas, i go back to some of those... and yes, there's a few smile:D

Customizable folder options would be fantastic.....but I don't think that FF could do it without disrupting the closed system they have for updating the program, filters, etc.....

sure they could, steve. you leave all the library folders as FF only, for downloads and reference and use. but in the 'my filters' area, you simply open that part up with more folder options. you simply makes those not 'read only' and also allow the user to add, delete or rename as many of those as he wants.

Oh, I see what you're saying.....a "closed" FF explorer/folder manager inside of FF.....good idea.....and I certainly would be one to put it to good use smile;) smile:)

well, the only part that would be closed, in the sense of closed to you and me's alterations, would be the library folders. those stay locked or read only. but the rest would be open to the user to alter, add to or delete as desired.
