Sorry everyone... hope all my posting today didn't scare you all away???
It's been all pent up to come back and try and fill in my space again, and maybe I did go a bit wild, but I'm settling down again... promise smile;)

So anyway... one of my recent filters that I just wanted to share a sample of how I used it for texturing a frame around a picture:

Guess what, another P.S smile:-p
Forgot to mention that the kitty was done with my "Ink & Paper Artist" filter.

I haven't been looking in the recent section for a few days. Been preoccupied. This looks like a very nice filter. I will be playing with it today and will let you know what I think. Thanks for pointing me to it. smile:D

Nice kitty!

Very pretty fabrics. Wish there was a section in the library just for cloth.

The plain fabric one is great. I have been needing texture for my fabrics and now I know where to look to see how it's done. I'm going to make something from this filter. Back latter with a little present for you. smile:D

Neato... thank you, kind Lady!
This is both adorable and very pretty... love your layering as well.
Here, you can have a chocolate bar for this smile:D

oh yah... p.s. going to have to try and recreate this pattern, nicer than most of my presets. You sure have an eye for fabric smile;)

You're welcome and thanks for the candy.

I wish I had saved the settings on that one. I did make a nice 1200 x 1200 picture of it.

Can that be done? I mean, could we make presets and share them with each other? That would be a great addition to FF if we could just send them over as separate files and have them pop right into the appropriate filter smile:D

Oh that would be so great if you can, Ahimsa... thank you!
So ummm, how would I get it into my FF so I could use it too? And where would I put it so it was installed properly?

Well, one day maybe I will be able to earn enough HUs to get a Pro version, then watch out... I'll be cranking out the goodies until I wear my fingers down to the knuckles smile:-p

Hi Foxxee, if Ahisma saves a copy of the filter, it will save all her presets as well. She renames the copy then emails the ffxml file to you. When saving the file... Documents and Settings... (my folder is the name of my computer registration)... then application data... Filter Forge... then the last folder... My Filters. Save the ffxml file in the 'My Filters' folder.

Not the best directions sorry... then you can share xxfml files.

Now here is another solution but you'll need one of the guys that have been here awhile to give advice on this one...

You'll see a folder in the Filter Forge folder called 'My Presets'. You'll need the filter number but pretty sure that file can be passed like a ffxml filter file. Wish I could tell you more about this, but I'm still learning too.

Glad to see you've overcome your email shyness~ smile:D Wish I were more help but I think the above info points you both in the right direction.

Umm... what smile:?:
Hehe, I'll let her figure that one out for me. She probabaly knows what you're talking about but my brain is just too scattered rigth now to think things through straight until I can get some decent sleep.

Ahimsa, you think you can figure this out and do this? Would be great if we could share them that way, like the way Crapadilla posted his Wind Blur up in the Creating Filters forum?

Well, not completely... I'm still pretty shy about using it, I'm trying to take baby steps right now, but thanks, Persidio, and for the tips too smile:)

I'm a bit out of it myself at the moment~ The 'pathway' I mentioned are computer folders on a windows operating system. You can reach them from the 'My Computer' area for Windows XP. I know graphics but I'm not a computer whiz so this is just basic stuff. Now you've been in graphics awhile so you do store and make folders for your graphics right? The 'My Documents and Settings' folder should be right on C drive. If the guys don't step forward to help, then I'll grab you a screenshot of the folders. smile:)

Totally understand~ smile:) Glad you're feeling better. Just to let you know, I can't keep up on posts lately ... if I don't get to a post right away I'm not ignoring, also I don't have post notification turned on. So If I don't see the post then... I don't see it. The post notifications were driving me crazy, so I turned them off. Figure I'm in the forums enough to stay current. About ready to head out and back into filter updating and creation. If you two want the screen shot just let me know. smile:)
