I am a little confused... is Uuk also known as Uberzev?
This filter is the exact same filter as Uberzev's at http://www.filterforge.com/filters/2310.html but with a bevel added. Also, all the presets are exactly the same as Uberzev's presets. I would greatly appreciate a better understanding if this is a revamp of Uberzev's Truchet Tiling filter (of which I see no mention of him by name in the description here) or if Uuk is indeed Uberzev by another name. My concern is that if this is not, what will this new direction of filter making go? I'd really appreciate some light on this matter as there are others I've seen recently submitted in the past few weeks. Thanks. ~Foxxee~

Nope...and as such is the cause of much debate (and outcries from the more "passionate" sort) Its a grey area that FF may want to address, they it probably doesnt matter much to them, as they dont care who (or how they get) a HU filter...its all the same on their end. |

Yeah...saw the title...but it doesnt change the fact that this is still the same already popular filter with a simple beveling applied to it.....makes it look very much like someone who is trying to ride their way to HU on the works of other people rather than trying to make something truely unique.
You have a couple nicely unique ones, so this type of thing is not necessary, and basically floods the library with filters that are all too similar to each other. |

I'm not (that) offended.
![]() You should just make it clearer in the filter description what your contribution to the effect was. |
