I'm just really curious, and could use a bit of helpful suggestion here on the resulting presets as they appear here on this page please smile:?:

To my great surprise, all the presets I see here are more or less 'off balance' compared to the same ones that show up for me in my own Filter Forge. How is this, and what can I do about it, if anyone has any idea?

When I submitted them I did so after hours of scrupulously playing with the Offset sliders to get them just right and balanced in every way. How is it that they do not appear this way in their preview but do in my own filter... and should I re-submit it?

Thanks for any insight and help smile;)

Hmmm, I just downloaded this one to take a look and see what happened to it in the transit of submitting it, but the preview for the presets all look perfectly balanced in the downloaded one too, just as I had made them!
Now I'm really curious, how is it they look so off-balanced here, and will anyone appreciated that they will not get windows looking as if one has just woke up from Friday night's hangover? smile:D

since i see no life preserver, i'm assuming this is entered in the texture filters, as opposed to image filters. ALL TEXTURE FILTERS ARE SEAMLESSLY TILED BY THE WEBSITE! so, if you didnt set your presets with seamless turned on, the website will turn this feature on automatically and this alters the look of the presets. they get re-drawn for seamless.
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Oh! Thanks for that tip, Kraellin smile:)

I had not idea till I just looked that there were 2 separate categories for each subject. What a mistake on my part! Wonder how many more of my filters I've unwittingly done this to smile:|

Is there anything I can do to reset this filter into the right category, maybe re-submit it... which will mean it wont show up till next Monday, being it's a weekend?

Just wanted to pop in and give anyone interested a look at what the Preset Window Frames will actually look like.

If you read the above comment given by Kraellin you'll understand why the previews are a little off or quite different than I had intended them to be. I did try to re-submit, but I was not given the choice to re-categorize this filter into the appropriate one. Sorry about the mess-up on my part smile:(

That said, I am including a screen shot of my own Presets as they appear in my Filter Forge so that you will know exactly what you are getting before you download smile;)

A tip I learned was to use 512 x 512 work area so that what you see when you are making the filter will be the same as what you will see in the previews here. I need to fix a couple of my first ones eventually so they will look right. I was using 600 x 600.

BTW...the presets you are showing here look good. smile:)

Great! Thanks for that tip too, Ahimsa smile:)
I've just made myself a white PSP sample size that I can use when making future filters... this is really helpful.
Oh, and glad you like the 'real' presets too smile:D

I'm going to have to check on whether or not I have Ron's Lab Enhancer... love the rich look you get in the colors.

Oh and the textured window too! This is a really warm and inviting picture you put together, Persidio!

Grab the first one he did... I use it all the time... put it in fav's for easy access. The first default setting is a quick easy and fast application.

I'm very surprised it's not HU. I think it could go HU. One of my fav filters he's ever made because it is soooo useful~

I saved my layers so I can keep playing with it~ smile;) The one with Steve's glass is my fav of the batch. I've been in email with Mom... sent her a bunch of photos but I'm back now... Still have to get a sample for Ron up...
