Bob, I'm totally amazed!!! Excellent Work!!! smile:) smile:) smile:)

This is only your second filter??? I thought it was hard enough to create one leaf.....then you create a vinyard like drinking a glass of water smile:)

Can't wait to see what you come up with for your third one smile;) smile:)

I am completely blown away. I had no idea this kind of thing was even possible. It really gives me a lot to think about. Very nice work.

Woo! Thanks guys! I was going to submit this on Friday but i got the 0kb (which i am NOW aware of) crash on my final save and lost all that days work! But as usual when i must redo stuff after crashes, it turned out better than it was before. I did have a cooler shadow solution before but this will do! Fun stuff! smile:D

I had a mini-review but it got wiped by a "Service Temporarily Unavailable" message.

In any case, BenBeckwith, you sound like you've got a good spirit of growth: a guy who knows how to take a setback and turn it into a comeback! Hahaha.

But seriously, this filter caught my eye when I first saw it. I've been a cautious-yet-openminded skeptic when it comes to plant filters in Filter Forge, and I've got to try this out. I just hope it runs reasonably fast too.

I, too, like the above praises, encourage you to keep on keeping on and creating more in this line — with your focused and continued persistence, you'll be recognized a master of flora in our community! (Don't let that stop you from branching out, tho!)
I'm enjoying using Filter Forge to create http://torley.com/textures

Pun intended? smile:D It's certainly not the quickest to render, but it's not meant as a quick filter for photos so it's forgivable i hope smile:) I definitely love emulating real word stuff, specifically plants. I've had a good Mayan style brick wall texture around long before i made these 2 filters so i hope to get that up at some point.

You are already amazing at creating filters; however, the more you create the more shortcuts you will learn; so when you re-visit your old filters you find ways to make them quicker and quicker. So I imagine that after awhile you could make this one a little bit quicker. And if not, who cares it is awesome.
