Thought it was pretty useful for games. As I said, if you want the lava to appear to glow [animated] just create two different diffuse maps, one with brighter colored lava and one with darker colored lava. Just fade between and it will give the illusion of glow. |

Sorry, but that's how you do it with the unreal editor ^ for ut2003/4 I'm not sure about other editors. |

Scary, I was actually playing around with filter Forge today and got something very similiar to this. It was not anything serious, just waisting time; anyway, there is a way to get it to appear as if it is glowing without using a game engine, just in case people want lava for something besides games.
If you want to get it to look like it is glowing play around with the threshold tool. |

it's a little on the dark side, darth, so i hope there are some lighten/brighten settings with this. other than that, looks good.
you might also do a new filter based on #2. that looks a LOT like marble. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

the presets often come up differently than what you submitted due to the library turning the presets into seamless tiles. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

----It's probably because only like 3 of the presets show the 3-D depth (like the main one). Rework it so that's the only look it can do and I bet it goes to HU eventually. jffe
