hmmm...I think I will have to add a "lightness" control.
This filter didnt look so dark on my monitor at work, but at home...wow....very dark LOL I will update it shortly Rawn

Haven't downloaded the filter yet, but this is looking very good! Nice work... One nitpick: Check the spelling of the filter name! Also, the filter name deserves to be capitalized, from what I can see. Furthermore, maybe you could add a few more controls (like Rock Color and Global Noise Detail, for example). Personally, I'd always provide 5-7 controls per filter as the ideal. --- Crapadilla says: "Damn you, stupid redundant feature requests!" ;)

			Yikes...good catch on the spelling.
I have the update submitted, so it should be fixed soon. (btw...Rock colour can be adjusted through the "rock hue" and "rock Saturation" control) Rawn

Just my personal taste, but the rock seems too smooth overall for something that travelled a frictionless void. Maybe you could add some tweakable roughness/noise? --- Crapadilla says: "Damn you, stupid redundant feature requests!" ;)

There already exsits a moon crater filter, but I have to say that yours appears superior. I like the effect.

Yeah, there are a couple moon craters here, that is why I tried to do something slightly different and make it seem more like a pock marked rock instead of a dusty planetoid like the moon. That is also the reasoning behind why it is smoother than the others, to make it look more like solid rock.
I probably could mod it to be a little more jagged I guess, but I dont want it too close to what is already available. No sense duplicating something (unless you can improve on it) Rawn

Just give us sliders for noise detail and roughness and we'll answer the question of jaggedness/ruggedness ourselves... *nudge nudge* --- Crapadilla says: "Damn you, stupid redundant feature requests!" ;)

LOL...I'll see what I can do
(I am wrestling with another weird one right now...which is either very cool, or completely useless...it just needs more play till i figure out what it is LOL) Rawn

Ok...updated to add some more control over the surface details.
(should be popping into the library sometime soon)

Looking... sweet. I only noticed one thing I am not to fond of with this filter, namely the smaller craters seem to not distort or bend with the bigger craters. Example: Look at the edge of the big Crater, I would think the smaller crater would be distort as they slope into the larger crater.
Just a thought, still think this is HU quality.
