The thing is I used FF a bit a couple of weeks ago.. And put it away after i finished what i needed to do with it... Picked it up again the yesterday or the day before and thought... Why not make a bunch of filters in the time i have left with the trial and see if i can get enough marks for a free copy...

The thing is i really love this program. But I dont have enough cash to fork out for it right now smile:(

Oh and I love node based rigging its the most intuitive way of setting up any effect smile:D

You're not alone smile:) I would suggest taking your time to make some unique usable filters like this....then contact FF and request a time extension on the demo near the end of your 30 days. I think if FF sees that you care about making quality filters and you are not just dumping "quickies" on the library, they would extend it.....

Welcome to the fun and "addiction" smile:) lol.....

Wow! I completely agree with the others, if you didn't say that this was your first filter, I would have believed that it was created by an veteran filter maker! There's a couple of Nebula and Star filters out there already, but this one just looks so natural that it's amazing!

Oh! My only request is that I wish there was a some pink nebulae in the presets -- I'm a sucker for pink nebulae ^_^

Heh you can set the colour of the nebula in the main settings. But if you want to setup a second set of clouds just go into the filter editor and copy the noise stuff at the bottom of the node table and blend it together with the original noise smile:) Then you have a 2 phase cloud map as well smile:D

Oh and Is there anyway to properly organise the settings layout? I dont just mean the order in witch the settings are displayed but Can i set up tabs and put some settings in there own tabs?

Idealy I would have a tab for each star layer and one for the nebula.

definitely captures that deep space look. nice.

and no, there is no current way to 'tab' your controls. we might get something in a future version, though. i have many filters where i'd love to make all those controls in a certain leg 'invisible' unless you set that leg to active. it would save a lot of space and be much more intuitive.

what i do currently is, i add a switch component and affix checkbox controls to it. i then make the checkbox controls named soemthing appropriate or just ---------- to show a division of controls in the gui. it's a bit klutzy, but does help in places.

Nice work, again.

My only suggestion would be to make the nebulae less uniformly spread over the image. You could use a perlin noise at a differently scale to 'mask off' some parts.

Oh, and can we get some star flares, please? smile;)
