we may have to rename FF to 'glass forge' pretty soon.

nice effect. i especially like that you made the glass translucent and see the life preserver through it.
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Nice! When I first saw this filter, for some reason I thought about windows on Gingerbread houses -- well, the life size ones anyway, ahaha -- tasty!

Thanks, all! As usual, 'twas fun to make. smile:D

I was thinking of maybe making an update with user-controlled alpha for the glass...so if you wanted a big pane, you could tile, then blend it outside ff with whatever background you want. Does that sound useful? smile:?:

Yes it does smile:) I have another suggestion if you are interested.....go take a look at the metal bar texture in jffe's "Metal Melt" filter.....I was thinking that metal texture and relief for the panes would look awesome with the glass..... smile:)
