Maybe some more expalination could go here (with samples) as to what this filter does. Is it similar to the "Detail Enhancment" by the ame author? or what is the difference?

The detail enhancement is an "update" to detail multiplier, with more features. But the detail multiplier is a strait-up little filter for really bringing out details in a stylish way.

It's all controlled by blurs, which blur the image, and multiply the details back onto the original image. It does so in multiple steps, so you get something looking a lot better than just one blur.

The blurred details allow each pixel to enhance upon itself, as well its surrounding pixels. It basically makes everything more vibrant, details pop out, and adds a stylized view to the final image.

I personally used this workflow on a lot of color correction and enhancement projects, and I just wanted that workflow to be brought to the public with this filter.

I'll post some examples in a bit.

Oh, and with the detail enhacement, you can get the same results as detail multiplier by setting the Mode to 12 (Multiply function inside the filter), and leaving the rest of the settings at default, then just changing the value of "Detail Multiplier" slider. And I just updated the filter with new/revised presets. No new features inside, just something that will show its raw strengths.
