I like this one, being a pixel fan I can't help it. Variation #4 is my fav, but they all seem almost hand drawn or something. A very cool implementation of the whole pixellized look, nice work. smile:)

There is a refraction component inside which effectively does nothing (it is set to zero), and a Blur fed into it that also does nothing. I'd suggest getting rid of the two slackers! smile;)

Plus you could add some remapped controls to some of the highpass' and brightness/contrast's parameters...

Also - and this is just a personal preference - the filter might enjoy having a tiny bit more elaborate description! Otherwise me like your dirty pixels! smile:D

My one suggestion is that its hard to see what the filter does in thumbnail size based on the default preset you've chosen. Perhaps one of the others would be more illustrative at small sizes.

i ran this on my rose picture. #1, 2 and 3 work best. very cool. but the seamless tiling is kinda cool too.

Hey nck smile:) This would be an excellent filter to make objects appear out of focus and off in the distance with layers. It does it exactly how it looks when you zoom in on distant, out of focus digital objects.....

Clever!!! smile:)
