WOW! I have just discovered this filter and is really well done and very good idea to have it make it into transparent background and have the option to have it into black and white or color.
Very good to have many controls that gives many different possible options to customize the result.
I have made some examples here  |

As this is converted to a transparent background (if you want, as there is other option)you can easily multiply this one and make more complex designs very easily  |

And it not only is black, as you can choose to have any ink color that you want
Also you can add a small frame  |

And this done with option 3 in the Lineart/trace setting that keeps the original source colors and gives a beautiful effect  |

And although I have used above the black lines, you can change the lines to another color and get different effect

Glad that you discovered it too and like it the same as me.
HOW many other VERY GOOD filters are there in the FF Library that we have not yet discovered and could be very useful and helpful?
This filter is from March 2007 !!!
Although now thanks to your help with the great FFCat this will change and will be MUCH easier to find things like this.

Here I have another good example that shows the difference of lines sketch that you can do.
To get the best from this I have prepared before the photo making it much sharpen and enhanced the details and give it a boost so the filter could make much better work with the black outlines.
The first is with light lines and less saturation
This is done with preset 2 and then changing the Lineart/sketch to option 3 and customize the lines if you want  |

And the other one is with the preset 1 BUT then after modifying some of the settings to get the effect shown below.
This is with darker and thicker lines and more saturation.  |
