I think this is so cool! Wow, if you do a image search of "synthwave", AT LEAST half of the pictures involve a grid terrain with a sun/moon object...

Very nice filter. It remembers me some design of the Eighties. Some idea : - Maybe it could be nice to have the chance to control the final Blur. - You can make the grid more smooth if check the Anti-Aliasing in the Smudge component

Haha. That item on Creative market really looks and named same. Gave me some ideas.

What do you mean to "final Blur"? Anti-Aliasing in Smudge makes rendering ~2.5 times slower and affects only on the edges near the horizon. With your help, we are building a new better future.

It is just an idea, in case somebody wants a less blurred result. About the Anti-Aliasing, I did a test dropping to zero the previous blur. That case the lines of the grid become less continuous. That's why I thought to check the Anti-Aliasing. Checking it the lines go back fine. Yes, you are surely right that using the Anti-Aliasing should make the filter slower. In my case I saw practically no difference (maybe just 1-2 seconds), but it surely depends on the computer specs.

I added blur because without it, image looks very sharp and rough, fragmented.
But ok, i'll ad it. With your help, we are building a new better future.

It's a coincidence, I had just been searching for FF filters to make a synthwave theme project!
Almost with these listed below, but could not find the already made wireframe mountains, til your filter Horus GF WireframeGF Wireframe - https://www.filterforge.com/filters/10346.html (maybe use photoshop liquify tools to create mountains, but not sure it would look right) CybergridCybergrid - https://www.filterforge.com/filters/9936.html Glowing Crystals - https://www.filterforge.com/filters/14263.html (clump together to make mountains maybe) Stars at Dusk Redux (for mountains in the distance) Foxxee's SpheresFoxxee's Spheres - https://www.filterforge.com/filters/3653.html (good sun if remove surface height for flat look) Ghost Sphere (has synthwave colors, great detail) Gotham City or Noise City(for the city) Lasertimeor Tron 2.0(for neon glow) I havent had time to put it all together just gathering possible filters.

I like the update, colors are great Especially the blue icy looking one. I haven't seen a synthwave ice landscape anywhere before! The one with the yellow & orange square grid seems like a digital field of flowers.

I finally got the set, but from a different site here.
I am over the moon I think FF will greatly enhance & make the kit unique. Especially Tim2501's Ghostsphere planets and the unique color schemes from Horus' Synthwave. I hope there are more synthwave, 80's retro stuff on filter forge in the future, it's so much fun!
