Thanks Skybase. I did figure out a way to add colors to it by adding color controls to the high and low nodes of the threshold component. A learning experience. Don't step on a dead dogma. It'll turn up again and bite you!

I did allow for images in the color components, but they only really work when certain types of images are used. Feel free to submit an upgrade to this filter using my edit. I wouldn't even presume to post it as my own. I was looking for the way to add colors to your originally black and white results. I stumbled a little but discovered the correct place to connect the color components by tracing the results back to where the black and white first appears. I'm quite happy to have figured it out. Don't step on a dead dogma. It'll turn up again and bite you!

He! He! Yes, it is nice to understand how the filters work. I also always look into other people filters, trying to add some specific thing that I want to do.

PayPaul. I added the chance to have colors.
This way, also with the original filter, it will be possible to get colored results.
The colors are added in the Threshold component. Maybe it is the same location where you also added.

Yes, it is the same location. It's the only place I discovered it was possible. Do that in any early stages and the threshold component will cancel out the added coloration. Don't step on a dead dogma. It'll turn up again and bite you!
