Perfectly said. I love this filter.

I do a bunch of photography which I shoot with the intention of ending with black and white.

Throwing this filter at some of those photos is eye-opening in terms of showing possible directions I would never have considered.

Instant favourite.

it would be quicker if you use noise disortion (roughness=100, scale=1)

I'll try the noise distortion. The filter seems to work well on my test images. It's seems useful to brush the result on the original in overlay, soft light, and luminosity modes via a mask.

This is a very interesting filter indeed! I could not stop playing around with it. Awesome idea, I love how it adds some type of texture to the image while not destroying it. Very well done.
