This is a gorgeous filter! As far as I can tell, it only creates radial type designs. Is it possible to make the trees all perpendicular? They would make a great fantasy forest background.

Thank you very much!
As you correctly said, the filter couldn't put all trees perpendicular. I added a control for you, to easily doing it ( Rotation Y/N ). I'm uploading the update just now. I think FF will post it Monday or Tuesday. |

To make everything even easier, I added a new preset, #10. This preset has the same settings of the first, with the only difference that the rotation is off.

I have been experimenting with this wonderful filter and it never ceases to surprise me. The default preset applied to a plain 100% white image makes great faintly visible tree patterns. With a level adjustment to make the pattern pop, it looks like this:

Thank you!! To EAdams : Wow! Very nice. I wonder if I made also different shapes of trees. The results could be even better. But.... maybe the filter would become slow. I should try. |
