Thanks DJI.
![]() The result is very nice, especially considering that the original pictures are not complex Thanks for posting it. ![]() "Also the fact that the filter only has 15 controls is a god send for me." : is this a hint? It may mean --> "Ramlyn. Do filters with few controls". Ha! Ha! |

I chose those two images specifically because they are very similar and would produce an even result. Also the first one is a bit darker than the second and made a good background, this is turn would define the layers more clearly.
![]() P.S My brain is old and works better with fewer controls. ![]() ![]() "Art is quite useless." Oscar Wilde |

nice and well done effect Ramlyn, like it and good idea to do it this way
Sorry, DJI, but I do not agree that always is good to have only a few controls, If the filters can be better having a few more controls and be able to make with more optiona, I think from my personal point of view and taste that is good. i understand that it may be better to have fewer than lots of them, but it depends on the filter. i agree that the additional controls should be useful. |

For DJI : Ha! Ha! You may be old, but you surely have young ideas.
![]() For SpaceRay : Thank you! In some not too heavy filter I may try again to split it in 2-3 areas and to add shadows ( I tried yesterday with one but the result was so so. Adding shadows, like I did here, seems to work well only with filters creating very near design and well defined areas ) |
