I think this looks interesting and good, and I like the presets you have done.

maybe this also could be used for making abstract things

Color Emphasis increases the "weighting" on the color channels (a and b of Lab color) over lightiness when picking the colors that Match Color.

Color Threshold determines the size of the color range. Smaller values return a large color range, higher values return a small color range.

Median Matching increases the picking area by removing stray pixels.

These values work best for color range picking. The presets also show use of these values. They are: Color Threshold 50-80 (70 as default), 50 returns more colors, 80 less colors.

Color Emphasis, above 60, 80 is the default. Setting this to 0 favors Brightness over Color. Median Matching - 30 is the default. 100 increases the area picked, sometimes too much.

Feathering - 0-15, 5 is the default.

DISCLAIMER: Color range pickers by their nature are only an approximation of human color perception. This filter may not produce the desired results, especially in photographs. NO GUARENTEES!

i think that this could be interesting to be used in an alternative way, removing parts of images in an abstract way, I will put an example when I have it to show what I mean
