And the result. smile:D I've notest that the less opaque the texture is the better it wraps around the image. smile:)

So many texture filters either give to much darkness or washes out the original color of the photo. I was trying to maintain as much of the original color and texture of the image as possible, but also give it a grunge mask. Sort of a dirty cellophane instead of full on dirt. The toning down of the color wash seemed to be the answer. I'm sure this can and has been done in another way in other filters, but this seemed to give me what I was looking for.

Your ball image shows the exact thing I was looking for. Good clean lines still on your image, but a really nice rusting effect that doesn't over power or look fake. Nice example DJI. smile;)

This is what I originally wanted this filter for, to antique signs or objects for crafts. You can take a very ordinary image and really give it a rusted realistic overlay.

Indeed, good stuff. smile:) I see you put your work on PhotoBucket. That way you can load one image right on top of another here like you did with your first 4 examples. I tryed that with my DevArt gallery. But for some reason I could never get it to work. smile:?: Here's the link to my profile. smile:) http://lanceironrod.deviantart.com/

Thanks for the dirty, filthy filter! Wonderful. Used it on my latest image at Chaos Fields.
