Thanks DJI. CFandM did all the hard work making these beautiful backdrops for my imagination. I just dropped some graphics into them and applied an ancient Flaming Pear filter "Flood" and my new world came to life. All the mood and intrigue belong to him.

I've heard you talk about this Flaming Pearl before so I just downloaded the .dills for the solar program and droped into my 8bf. shim in Paint.net and HEY! It works. So i'll see what's what.

Those are my favorites too Chuck. The boat one has that gigantic rocky cliff that just screams deep exotic waters below. And the frog background, when I tinted it with green, looks like a lush jungle full of strange plants. I'm not a big fan of dragons and such, but your filter makes some very off world like backgrounds. They remind me of H. R. Giger and his Alien paintings.

The boats crew want to see what is on the other side of the cliff...

Thanks Indigo.
Post-brightening really made the colors pop. I'll try that next time too. |

Thanks Adam glad you are enjoying this one...hmmm...That does make the colors
stand out more...Perhaps I should update with the brightening in the filter... I'll have a go and see what I can come up with... Maybe I'll update with this method...It does not slow it down with this lighten method since it does not use the surface aspect.... ![]() Stupid things happen to computers for stupid reasons at stupid times! |

Oh yes. This made a world of difference. Now the lighting can be done right in your filter. Great update Chuck.
One more "water" pic then I'm moving on before you tire of me. This is "Birds of prey on a turbulent ocean" |

Thanks Ron and yep can never have too many fractal filters...
I see you found the update Marlene.. One trick with this update is if you move the brightness all the way to zero the point lights affect the fractal a bit as well...... ![]() Stupid things happen to computers for stupid reasons at stupid times! |

Wow that is a nice fractal Chuck. The addition of the light controls really makes this filter expand out and makes it some much more useful. I can't stop playing with this one.
I'm not getting any work done here at home though. |
