Thanx! smile:D And the surface texture of this filter was so simple to do.I just mapped the main noise shapes through the noise node of a perlin component.(Can ya believe it?) smile:)

Since you also have a "sphere" version (or err a circle version), here's how it'd look when it's actually warped on a sphere. Background = temporary HDRI map.

Just another material test with different lighting.

After rendering a bunch of these I kinda think the detailed perlin noise (not the base) is a bit too uniform. I would personally modulate those details to appear only in necessary, interesting areas, leaving some areas smooth and some areas not. There's this little industry secret where by adding a bit of variation to detail level, it just adds interest to the whole thing. I may need to hook you up to an example though, it's a bit hard explaining by word.

YES! This is what i'm talkig about. I want to see people using my filters to make there own art. smile:D I really wish that at least some of the folkes that have downloaded my stuff would send me some pics of there work. smile:) Is there a place in the forums to get the general statistics on filter use? I'd like to get some spacific info on what's hot and what's not and get some kind of ideas for future filter making. smile:)

Nice, very sculptural!
I'd like a 3d filter forge that makes voxel-based sculptures!

Is this what you mean? I've adjusted a few parameters.

The sphere looks good, but there is a blur in the center and it makes your beautiful 3D design very flat.

Maybe it is difficult to do only using FF.

That's not a blur. It's the way it seamlessly tiles. That was preset #7. Here's #3. smile:)
