			To adjust the height near where the puddle meets the rock, add or subtract values using a threshold and a curve I suppose.  The reflection has a slight distortion at the rim no?
   Just giving my observation on what would make it perfectly realistic IMHO.  Of course the larger the scale, the less noticeable the edge bend, so maybe this is some alien world where the raindrops are 10 feet across and we are seeing this from a great height, nothing wrong with that. _____________________________________________________
