Very nice filter, beautiful results using different simple b/w images as the brush. The long rendering time unfortunately is a deterrent to lots of experimentation. I wasn't able to access the webpage listed in the description to get the author's paintbrushes or more documentation (HTTP 404 Page not Found error), but I suspect most users would use their own brush images anyway.

Hi all. It's not clear whether I can improve the speed or not. I will wait to see if anyone with more technical knowledge under the hood can help me out. In the meantime, here is one of the preview images with DRVG on it with a hard branch brush.
