It looks good and think this could be done even better with more controls and some presets as it does have none now.
Although the name for now is not right because the Cubist paint as seen in this Google Images is a different thing than the result you get with this filter and not cubist By the way congratulations on your first filter ![]() ![]() |

I think you have done a good work and is interesting how you have mixed the components.
I have already tested your filter and I have put below some controls suggestions for you that modifies the behaviour of the filter, although this is up to you if you like the results or not when modifying the values. If you think that the value of the Scale when 0 (equal to 140 in remapping) gives to many small bits, you can rise it from 140 to whatever you want. to make the remapping you have to put the control at zero value For the name, I think that it could be "Chemical Painting", or "Painting with Acid", or "Melting Paint" ![]() |
