Although this is shown as planet maker, and a good one that has many options, there could be also used for making giant Planetary or stone marble balls

Hi, thank you for planetgen, it looks amazing!
Newbie question: is it possible to generate a planet texture from this that is suitable for mapping onto a sphere? |

I'll have to work on that, probably as a separate filter. There is this, but it's pretty old, ugly IMO, and doesn't map to a sphere without distortion at the poles.
