First, I do not know why the "by SpaceRay" is duplicated and must be a forum error because on the filter page is right.

I do not want in any way get all the merit for this filter. Of course that this filter is NOT all mine at all, as this is based on the well done work of Uberzev´s spirograph filter I found in the forum, BUT this was an unreleased and unfinished filter without any controls, and I have made an overhaul of the filter and have added many more controls and things to the filter that Uberzev would not have added, and have made a study on how to get the most of this filter and use it in much more ways than ONLY the Spirograph, and also have made many tests on how to make it better and optimized so it works right and in the best way.

In the filter description is not the full text as it did not fit

First I must thank to Uberzev that made a simple Spirograph filter where the first 3 presets belong to him, BUT this was an unreleased and unfinished filter and had none of the controls. and I thought that this deserved to be shown to the world, but just adding some controls and ONLY make the first 3 presets would not be enough and there could be much more.

This is the missing part here below

I discovered that this had a great hidden potential, and have made a great effort to discover how every point of the filter work and add controls to be able to manage and customize every part and go much beyond a simple spirograph, I want that the Spirograph Break out and be free and so can make many different kind of textures made with the elipses from the Spirograph shape.

Another example done with preset 6 and then using as source image some color stripes as background and a different blend mode to get this effect.

Here are some Spirograph examples with my own controls that let you have lots of customization over the elipses and how you can configure them

In this I have resized the Elipses in different sizes and rotated them independently

Glad you love this filter Ghislaine. Nice examples.
There are LOTS of possible ways to use this filter.

Here is another different example where you can use a normal unretouched source photo as a mask for making some compositions. If the source image includes black it will not be filled when using the blend modes, so you can define where the shapes appears and where not. In this one I have used blend mode 3

Thanks Morgantao, glad you like it.

I though that this could also be used to make frames, as these are spirographs on the loose, or on the wild.

I AM SORRY - THERE SEEMS TO BE A PROBLEM WITH THE "NEXT VARIANT" BUTTON

I have tried now to use the "nex variant" button and gives mostly bad results and ugly ones, and before publishing it has given very good examples and lots of variations and now DOES NOT WORK in the same way as before. I do not know what happened. Will have to see why this does not work anymore like before.

SOLVED THE PROBLEM OF THE "NEXT VARIANT"

It seems I have found the problem of what was happening and was that the invert component was destroying the variants and spoiled the results.

I have made a new updated version that will work well.

And ALSO thanks to Morgantao I will upload MORE presets here so you can use them too.

Thanks Mardar, glad you like it, although most of the source work belongs all to uberzev, what I have done is to transform it into a very different thing in that it does NOT only make simple spirograhs and it does MUCH more than this.

THE NEW UPDATED AND FIXED VERSION IS ALREADY IN THE LIBRARY

Finally this filter is already available in the library and now is fixed and work well as it should have been from start.

Please, try now to use the "next variant" button and have lots of possible variations sources, and then when you find one that you like BUT is not the way you want it, you can customize and change it with the collection of setting that I have put for you.

Also I have changed and optimized the place of control settings to make it easier.
