Mardar Graphics Junkie Posts: 688 Filters: 61	I really love this filter Gene. It gives texture without masking detail, that is sometimes my greatest problem with texture filters. I also love how it reacts differently to the image. The spray knows where the image is and where it needs to do the spraying. It's as if it knows what needs the texture to enhance it and what needs the textured to fall into the background. Here are some examples to show how divers this filter is. Great filter Gene. Keep them coming. And it even works great on black and white images!!!

Gene S Morgan Posts: 648 Filters: 81	Mardar ... Thanks much for you encouragement and examples. This filter is one of several I have been working on for photo effects. I really did not think it worked very well, but seeing your images has filled me with hope. They are wonderful. Maybe it is useful. The flowers are so graphic and perfect and the silhouette is amazing.

Andrew B. Posts: 207 Filters: 2	Mardar. I think you found the strength of this filter. It does an amazing job on photos of what are primarily untextured subjects. The results are impressive. And, of course, credit also goes to Gene's work on this filter.

You are correct this gives a really great texture to flat graphics and the foggy spray around the image gives it a wonderful mood. Ghislaine, that is a beautiful picture. You said it was taken at night? It is just gorgeous. Genes filter gave it a very wonderful texture too.

I'm in Quebec. On the picture, you see the beautiful and great park close to my home. From there, we can see the mountain but in an other angle or point of view. Why don't you move in my country ? But I must say it is nice to see photos of places that a colder than here in the Midwest, though I do prefere palm trees ...
