PlanetGen 2 is a new version of PlanetGen that includes all-new lighting and clouds. The controls all work the same as in PG1 with one difference: there's more of them. The atmosphere color control now also influences light tint, coloring it with the control's inverse. For example, with blue air you get a slight orange tint. With yellow atmo you get blue light tint, etc. I've also implemented a gradient-based lighting system using a radial gradient that is first spherized, then refracted by the inverse of the surface height to give the illusion of bumps on a sphere. The clouds are very simple, just Perlin noise distorted, then blended with the original noise in some places. It is then gradient-mapped so that one end becomes perfect alpha and the other is the cloud color. There is still an option to render on a transparent background instead of a starfield. As a result of switching to another form of lighting, the starfield is no longer darkened or colored by lights.
