Description
This filter can produce a variety of metal like textures. Make sure to uncheck the scratch and mottle check boxes if you don't need those effects as it will speed up the calculations significantly. Scratches only affect height, so do not show in the diffuse map, but do in the bump, normal, and AO maps. The brushed and mottled effects affect the diffuse map only and not the height maps. The Use Image option uses the gray scale of the image to determine the regions (black = background, white = foreground). For examples, try large, bold, white on black text with either of the last two presets.
