Description
One artist technique is to coat a piece of masonite with thick gesso or gesso with a thick filler to create a strongly textured base to paint on. This filter gives and image a gesso like embossed background. It is a very painterly effect. You can either use your image as inputted or switch to a slightly smoothed version to make it look more arty. You can use sliders to vary the size, depth, and direction of the painted texture.
