Description
This is not really a version 2 of my original Pseudo-HDR filter. It is more of a rework. I have created a color control and image combine mode area in the sliders which expands the range of the HDR like image outputs. It still does a great job of bringing detail out of shadow, but also darkens blown out areas of your image as well. At extreme settings of details you can use the smooth slider to diminish the halo effect produced by over sharpening. At it’s far right position the halo softens to a soft glow which makes a smoother transition at sharp edges. This is not a perfect HDR filter, but it can produce many HDR like effects in your image.
