Description
Just in time for Christmas, comes this filter for making rather abstract Christmas Tree balls, the kind you might find in high-end department stores. Please note, that there is a definite "seam" to the ball's texture and depending on the variation you're using it may be necessary to rotate the ball accordingly. For directions on rotation, I refer you to Threedee's comments on the snippet (Rotatable Sphere) that this was based on:"For simpler implementation, X-axis and Y-axis are relative to the sphere, Z-axis is relative to the viewer. This is slightly counter-intuitive but you can still rotate the sphere to any angle."In addition to Rotatable Sphere, this filter also incorporates elements of my Alien Jewelry filter, and by extension Vladimir Golovin's work on Metal Storm.
