Description
This is knitting but plain style rather than stocking stich as we have worked with before in Filter Forge. The heart of this filter is a pulled apart, simplified version of Chain Mail with the middle loop in each series bent back again so that it forms the loop of the knit. This is a surface filter so you have control of lighting and you can render bump maps and it is transparent so if you are making clothes for your characters - do take care what they wear underneatth! This filter could almost be a tribute to Constantin Malkov for his inspiring Chain Mail created just over a year ago and for his first knit material filter which gets the mind thinking of good looking textiles.
