It is simply a filter that shows you how to take one of your textures and flatten it, as it were. Instead of have sharp jagged bump maps, you can now have subtle details that lead to the visualizations that you wanted all along. So please, if you are new and trying out Filter Forge please download this simple snippet and see how easy it is to remove the unwanted contrast from your surfaced textures.It pains me to submit a filter that I know will have a Low Usage, but this would have helped me so hopefully it will help one of you.
