Description
I designed this mapscript for distributing brushes across an image, similar to the bomber component. It can be used for painting postwork, to create rain, fog or snow effects to textures and heightmaps, depending on what grids of brushes are plugged in.The script divides the image into columns and rows and keeps track of how many brushes have been distributed to each sector. For each pixel, the script checks how many brushes are located in that sector, then finds and displays the brush pixel with the highest alpha value, i.e. the pixel which is least transparent.[Brushmap]–> This is where you plug in a grid of brushes/images.[SelectBrushMap]–> Sel ect fr om several presets for different sizes of brushmap grids.[Strokes]–> Max number of brushstrokes.[SpreadMode]–> Select the mode for distributing the brushstrokes.[StrokeCap–300] –> Check this option if your PC struggles with performance. It caps the number of strokes at 300.
