Description
The filter contains a Map Script that generates spherically mapped Worley cell noise. There is an internal Distortion method, which can be mapped using a grayscale image. HDR values are accepted, but can be overpowering beyond the -1 to 1 range. The same is generally true of the Offsets, which can be used without mapped input to simply search for the perfect noise. Scale is also an HDR value, 0 is fully zoomed out and it zooms in in +/- directions. At present, my scripting skills are not quite up to providing a FF style noise Roughness control, but as long as you have multiple octaves set, you can control roughness via the Details slider. This component is good for use in texturing balls or planets. Whatever strikes your fancy!Note: If you connect map inputs, you will want to use spherically mapped images, otherwise you will break the seamlessness that's part of the map script. For convenience, a "companion" map script, with fewer features, is included in the filter.
